A brand monitoring tool built around what buyers see
Classic brand monitoring counts every mention of your name. That is great for a marketing team and noisy for a business owner. WhatsMyRep watches the places a buyer actually checks before they pay you, every day, and only speaks up when something there can hurt.

What you get
Brand monitoring for one question: what does a customer find when they check us?
Your brand in Google
Five searches a buyer runs: the name, “reviews”, “scam”, “complaints”, “is it legit”. Top 10 for each, every link scored 0-3. Plus Reddit threads, YouTube videos and news of the last 30 days that Google finds for your name.
Brand suggestions
Google and Bing autocomplete for your name in your country. New negative suggestions always alert.
Ratings and review waves
Stars and review counts from Google Maps, Yelp, Trustpilot, Tripadvisor, BBB and others, as shown in Google. A sudden wave of bad reviews alerts the same day.
AI answers
Google AI Overview daily, ChatGPT and Gemini weekly, 3 runs each.
What changed
Each day is compared with the last one: new pages, pages that dropped out, new suggestions, rating changes.
Up to 15 brands
1, 5 or 15 businesses per plan, each in its own country. Built for owners and small agencies.
A real check, not a mock-up
Four findings from the sample report, as the check returned them.
A real, unedited free check of a well-known business. Your report has the same parts for your name and your country.
How it works
1Add a brand
Name or website and the country. The first report is free and needs no account.
2Daily check
Results, suggestions, ratings and AI answers, compared with yesterday.
3Alerts on risk
Only what can hurt reaches your email, Slack, Teams, Discord or browser. The rest waits in the report.
Two kinds of brand monitoring
Most lists of “brand monitoring tools” are really lists of social listening tools. They pull in every post, article and comment that contains your name, sort it by sentiment and draw charts. Brand24, for example, starts at $199 a month billed yearly for 3 keywords and 2,000 mentions a month, according to its pricing page on 6 October 2026. For a brand that runs campaigns, that volume is the point.
A local business, a clinic or a small agency usually has a different problem. Its name gets a few dozen mentions a month, not thousands. What decides a sale is a short list of pages a buyer sees when they look the business up. One bad page in that list can cost more than a hundred neutral tweets.
WhatsMyRep is built for the second kind. It does not try to catch every mention. It watches the same five searches every day, plus suggestions, ratings and AI answers, and tells you when something new in that small, important set can hurt.
Signal over volume
Keyword alerts fail in a familiar way: the first week you read every email, the third week you archive them unread. Then the one that mattered goes unread too.
Every finding in WhatsMyRep carries a risk score from 0 to 3. A neutral directory listing, your own pages, or a namesake in another city stay at 0 and do not alert. A complaint page entering the top 10 for “your name reviews”, or “your name scam” appearing in Google suggestions, does. By default alerts start at risk 2, and you can change that per business.
For agencies watching clients
An agency plan watches 15 businesses, each in its own country: the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada or Australia. Alerts can go to one shared Slack, Teams or Discord channel, so the account manager sees a problem the same day the client’s customers do. Each report is a page you can open with a client and walk through.
Google Alerts and Talkwalker Alerts are free and worth setting up. Our guide Brand monitoring for a small business with no budget shows a 15-minute weekly routine with free tools, and where they stop.
What we do not do
Limits we would rather say out loud.
We do not read Instagram, TikTok or X feeds. Social posts show up only when they rank in Google for your name.
No share of voice or reach charts. If you need those for campaigns, a social listening suite is the right tool.
News comes from the Google News tab once a day, the last 30 days for your exact name. It is not a real-time feed of every outlet.
We watch businesses, not topics or competitors’ keywords.
Plain pricing. No annual contract.
The check is free. Monitoring starts with 14 days of the Growth plan, no card, then month by month. Nothing renews by itself.

Questions, answered
What brand monitoring covers here, and where other tools fit better.
What is brand monitoring?
Watching what is said about a brand online and how it changes. Tools differ in where they look: social networks, news, review sites, search results or AI answers. WhatsMyRep looks at search results, suggestions, review ratings, Reddit, YouTube, news and AI answers, as Google shows them, because that is where a buyer checks a business before paying.
How is this different from Brand24, Awario or Mention?
Those are social listening tools: they collect mentions from social networks, news and the web and chart volume and sentiment. WhatsMyRep does not count mentions; it scores what ranks for your name by how much it can hurt. Our comparison pages show prices and features side by side.
Is there a free brand monitoring option?
Google Alerts and Talkwalker Alerts email you about new pages with your name, for free. They do not show search suggestions, ratings, AI answers or what already ranks. Our free check covers those once, without an account.
How often is a brand checked?
Every day: results, suggestions, ratings and review counts, Reddit, YouTube, news and the Google AI Overview. ChatGPT and Gemini every 7 days. You can also run a check by hand once every 6 hours.
Can I monitor competitors?
You can add any business you are allowed to check, but the service is built for watching your own reputation or your clients’, not for competitive research.
What does it cost?
Starter $29 a month for 1 brand, Growth $79 for 5, Agency $149 for 15. 14-day trial of Growth without a card. No annual contract.
